FAQs

Does your practice take my insurance?

Yes. We are in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, MetroPlus, Oxford Health Plans, and UnitedHealthcare. Please refer to our insurances list or give us a call at (212) 624-2378 for all insurance related questions.

What will be the cost of my visit if I don't have insurance?

Self-pay is available at $225 for the first visit and $125 for follow-up visits. Please refer to our pricing list.

What services do you offer?

We offer a variety of chiropractic services, including advanced electrical stimulation. Please refer to our services here.

How much is my copay/deductible?

Your insurance plan is an agreement between you or your employer and the insurance company. We are the middle man administering treatment, so we do not make up the fees, copays or deductibles. We are happy to check for you upon request, but you are ultimately responsible for knowing your policy.

How long are appointments?

Appointments usually last for 40 minutes for the initial visit, and 20 - 30 minutes each additional visit.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

We have a strict cancellation policy. We require patients to cancel no later than 24 hours before the appointment. If you cancel an appointment within less than 24 hours of the scheduled time, we charge a $75.00 cancellation fee. You can cancel your appointment by calling (212) 624-2378, via the Flight Health patient app, or by signing in to your online portal.

What should I wear to an appointment?

Patients should wear loose-fitting clothes that are accessible to the area of complaint. Please refrain from wearing dresses or turtlenecks to the treatments.

What if I don't have insurance?

Self-pay is available at $225 for the first visit and $125 for follow-up visits.

Is it OK to see a chiropractor if I'm pregnant?

Chiropractors are trained in special techniques for adjusting pregnant women. Because of the inability to take medication for pain, the natural approaches of chiropractic care are the logical choice for pregnant women. Obstetricians are increasingly referring pregnant women to chiropractors due to the effectiveness of spinal adjustments for pain relief. Techniques designed to naturally turn a Breech baby are safe and effective.

Will I need X-rays?

Dr. Michael Calabrese will determine if an X-ray or MRI is needed upon your initial exam.
